Caseificio Palazzo participated as a sponsor in the 5th edition of the Italian Cuisine World Summit 2013, the world’s most exciting Italian food, drink and lifestyle event. The event was hosted for the first time in the city of Dubai from 6th to 10th November, and comprised some of Italy’s greatest chefs and the most prestigious Italian Restaurants from across Dubai, such as Bice, Bice Mare, Casa Mia, Bussola, Cavalli Club, Ronda Locatelli, L’Olivo, Positano, Roberto’s, Rococo, Certo, Sicilia and Alta Badia.
In the majestic and elegant context of Dubai, the Italian cuisine was the undisputed protagonist of luxury gala dinners, culinary lessons, degustations, shows and competitions held over the five days of the summit. Our “burrata” and “mozzarella per pizza” were among the most-awaited guests! They have enhanced the chefs’ menus and were among the must-have ingredients for the 1st Best Italian Pizza in the UAE Competition. This took place on 9th November at the prestigious restaurant “Bussola on the Beach” in Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. The competition was followed by an “italian-style” open-air happy hour held in the garden next to the beach, inside the Bussola on the Beach restaurant.
